Pet Travel Assurance Deposit
A Pet Travel Assurance Deposit is taken at time of booking to cover potential damages and potential disturbances caused by the Pet during the trip. 95% of this deposit will be refunded within 48 hours of travel assuming no damage and disturbance occurred during travel. (The 5% differential is to cover the processing fee assessed by the credit card company.) The amount of this deposit varies based upon whether the Pet will travel inside or outside a carrier:
$100 if Pet travels inside carrier
$250 if Pet travels outside carrier
If “traveling inside carrier” is selected, your pet must remain inside its carrier when inside the van. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of a portion the Pet Assurance Deposit.
Pet Owner is responsible for ensuring that his/her pet will NOT
Disturb fellow passengers (including by way of unwanted physical contact and emission of sounds)
Damage GoSherpa property
The breach of the above responsibilities may entitle GoSherpa to compensation (including but not limited to) the retention of the Assurance Deposit.
