Seats are not assigned. Passengers choose from seats that are unoccupied when they board the van.
Most (though not all) seats are equipped with a fold-down tray or a table. However, the fold-down trays support only a light weight object (such as a tablet). If you need a surface to support heavier objects (such as a laptop computer) or would like cordon off the table seats exclusively for your travel party, a table reservation will accomplish this.

NOTE: If none of the travel parties aboard have made a table reservation, you and your travel party may, still end up sitting at the table if those who boarded before you chose not to sit at the table.
